Epic Used Car Ad Brings Focus to Australian Digital Agency

Bound aboard the used car advertisement trendlet that was whole, Australian ad man David Johns has created a dubstep infused, pulse-pounding advertisement for his old 1999 Holden Barina which borrows greatly from every car advertisement platitude you've ever seen. The video, with over one million views since its start July 13, ends with a plea to tweet Johns an offer or to see BuyMyBarina.com on which the vehicle's "specs" are emphasized. The whole thing might or might not be a promotion for Johns' bureau, Sydney-based digital agency Chimney Group. Tiny links from the BuyMyBarina site indicate the Web site of the agency. Either way, this bit of work ups the used car advertisement game that is wacky. For garnering notoriety any manner he can and who can attribute an ad exec,?
